During his 7-year classroom teaching career at Hillcrest High School, he has borne witness to the transformative influence of quality support on students from all walks of life. During the 8-years of his tutoring career, Garth has been an unwavering advocate for diversity and inclusion He staunchly upholds the belief in affording every student equal access to a high-quality education. John Buhl

With a background in electrical engineering and management in the telecommunications industry, John Buhl brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Following his work with the Bell System, he worked 22 years teaching Algebra. Outside of the classroom he spent 15 years as a dedicated tennis coach, fostering sportsmanship and skill development. After work, John values precious moments with kids, grandkids, and his beloved pets. His diverse interests include travel, a passion for music, and the intriguing hobby of collecting vintage postage stamps.

Lee Capps

Lee found his passion for teaching as a graduate student at UTD. He taught electromagnetism for four years at UTD and then went on to teach physics at Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas. With an extensive background in math and physics, he encourages critical thinking to help his students gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Not only has Lee worked as an educator, but he also has several years of experience as an IT engineer, giving him a real-world perspective when it comes to applying problem-solving skills gained through math and physics.
